Samsung Euro Championship rules
 

Long time no se, mates :) but the matters are getting bad :/ here are the official sec rules:


Game Type: Circuit

Curses:

- Portland International Raceway, Festival GP
- Willow Springs, Short Track B
- Infineon, GP Track
- Chicago Airfield, Airport Long
-Autopolis, GP Track
Used car: only the Bonus Lamborghini Lmp 640 is allowed
Numbers of Laps: 5 (all tracks once)
Personal savefiles are not allowed. Provided WCG savefile must be used
Transmission: any
Collision detection: on
Weather: clear
Number of AI: 0
cameras: any
enable teams: no

Only Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 from bonus cars is allowed
collisions are ON
and 3 of 5 maps are massively wallriding and shortcuts

The man responsable for those rules is Attax|Sliver, and he's training with his team since two months. Why one man is making the rules for such big tournament like Samsung Euro Championship, and why he kept it in secret training with his mates? Is this fair?

The rules for some big tournamnts shoud be made in an international agreement, including top players of the world.

I would propose to allow all bonus cars, coz there are two better autos than crappy lambo. Collisions should be off, coz we dont want to see things that we saw at Underground2 wcg2005. And the mappool shoud be made of maps with no wallrides and no shortcuts. Its no fun riding on walls and cutting through half track on grass. No fun to play and no fun to watch.

I propose to inform your friends from international NFS scene about this topic, and here we can agree what to do next, maybe some email to WCG comitee? Its not fair what Sliver is making with the rules now, and we dont know what he will make for WCG, but sure his mates will know months before us :)

I don't think there are any qualifiers for ECG but the winners of last year's national finals will take part, so for Poland it would be Chris.

What about Russia? Are you participating as well or does Russia not count to Europe for WCG? :)

today i get known from our rus samsung that i go to ECG from Russia with three other russian players, that's shit, coz our cs players from virtus.pro has some chances there, on sec :/

Alan -> from Poland only Chris goes to SEC, but WCG is also in Germany this year and if sliver makes rules, there can be a similar situation like now, that attax will be training for some 2 or 3 months longer than rest of the world coz they will know the rules faster. I would like to see rules made together by top players, not only the attax team. I dont say that those rules are bad, but they could be better, like allowing all 12 bonus cars, and picking some tracks, that dont have any wallrides and offroad shortcuts, pure skill, not bug-using...

Anyway it is not fair if aTTaX players know rules before us. It will be good if we decide togheter. The problem is that NFS Community does not have a forum or site where we can talk togheter. We have to post here, a russian forum, where 90% of the users speak russian. What about an only english section?

In that rules only the Lambo from bonus cars is allowed so everybody has 100% the same car.

it was a hell of a Romanian qualifier :D
it was online the qualifier and one hour before my first match i run in the mall to buy the game. i haven't played at all pro street before that, not even the demo :D:D
half an hour before the match i was setting up my wheel, and first match i lost big time. one kid beat me up :D first race - i got DNF :D:D
than i played the second match with another player and i won, i was learning the tracks :D this was on friday, then all the matches where on saturday.
i trained on friday night about 3 hours and i managed to beat all on saturday :)
see the post up cause i wrote some more :)
we'll talk on ICQ.

hard competition. a lot of top class players. i hope i'll win at least one match :)
btw i don't speak russian, only a few lines for the girls and a few swears :D
