How hard would it be to change language to English? Do you need to get a different game, reinstall nfs or you can change it somewhere in menu? It should work with Euro/US versions of NFS, but with English language only (it doesn't work with Russian either, we should add that to the rules...).

SG13 just sent me the registry edit that he used to change his game from Russian to English. But for me it doesn't work, the game crashes at the start. So I can't get the english version just by changing some settings.

I think the reason is that I used a different patch: http://www.nfsplanet.com/nfsuc_patch.php
So I probably have a different .exe file as well. Maybe that is the reason?

If there are only these 3 different patches available maybe Infel could adjust the client to all of them? I understand you can't adjust it for 100 different languages but if there are only a few different patches it should be possible.

The problem with handbrake is that it is allowed on all tournaments. So the question is what do you want - a bug free wrecord or wrecord with the same rules as tournaments? We need to wait for community opinions on that.

It is allowed in all tournaments because there is no way to control it. But if your client is programmed so you can't have a key assigned to Nos and Speedbreaker then it would be possible to do the same with Handbrake.

Of course I understand that you want to wait for more opinions but if you wait too long the record lists will be already full with handbrake records and if you then decide to ban it you would have to delete the lists again.

This is just my opinion of course.
